nomadjames.com
nomadjames.com is a static portfolio site. It does not offer user accounts or a login. The current site does use Google Analytics to measure site use. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies. See Google's privacy policy for Google's handling of that information.
The Contact page includes an optional form for your name, email address, and message. When you submit it, the browser sends that information to Formspree so the message can be delivered to James. It is not submitted to a nomadjames.com application server. Formspree's handling is governed by its own privacy policy.
The site is deployed as a static build through GitHub Pages, with Cloudflare in front of the public site. GitHub Pages, Cloudflare, and other delivery infrastructure may process standard request data needed to deliver and secure the site, such as request and device metadata. This policy does not claim that ordinary infrastructure metadata is absent. See GitHub's privacy statement and Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Some pages link to or display third-party and locally hosted project material. Those services have their own practices. nomadjames.com does not sell information or use it for advertising. The Google Analytics measurement described above is the site's analytics service.
Boddicker Publisher
Boddicker Publisher is a private, single-user tool operated by James Dishman. It publishes James-approved text to James's own LinkedIn account. It is not a public feature of nomadjames.com and does not give the website access to a LinkedIn account.
The tool uses LinkedIn OAuth scopes openid, profile, and w_member_social. It accesses only the authenticated LinkedIn member identifier (sub), display name, and the exact approved post text needed to publish a post.
The OAuth access token is stored only in the Mac's macOS Keychain. It is not stored on nomadjames.com or the Linux workstation. Outside Keychain, only sub and display name are stored locally on the Mac. Approved post text is transmitted to LinkedIn only when a post is explicitly initiated.
Boddicker Publisher does not sell this information, use it for advertising or profiling, share it for unrelated purposes, or perform autonomous LinkedIn activity. There is no autonomous posting, replying, liking, following, messaging, or other LinkedIn account activity.
Local token and identity data remain until the token expires or local data is erased. The CLI's erase action removes the Keychain token and the local identity file. Published LinkedIn posts remain governed by LinkedIn and can be managed through LinkedIn. For LinkedIn's own privacy practices, see LinkedIn's privacy policy.
